Each concept is introduced, has a short lesson, and then has a creative reinforcement activity. Students review the grammatical concepts of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. The syntactical concepts of subjects, active verbs, linking verbs, direct objects, predicate nouns, predicate adjectives, and subject pronouns are reinforced. Taking Flight Book 2  introduces active verbs with direct and indirect objects, transitive passive verbs, articles, object pronouns, and prepositions of time.
